Apparently, Puff Diddly wants to buy Crystal Palace.  The reason?  Well…

After all, his favourite champagne is Cristal…”

Now, as reasons go, that is a pretty poor reason.  Tom Hanks supports Aston Villa because he likes the name, but you don’t see him putting a bid in, do you?  No.  And if I were a Palace supporter, I’d be a bit worried if this happens as Puff Diddly will lose interest.  I guarantee that.

But administrator Brendan Guilfoyle welcomed any approach, admitting he was a “big hip-hop fan”.  Of course you are son.  And Wayne Rooney is a massive Tchaikovsky afficionado.

According to The Sun, Puff had also considered taking over at Portsmouth, but if he ends up rejecting them, perhaps cash-strapped Pompey could approach fellow-rapper 50 Cent to see if he would put any money In Da Club.
